quick post before I fall asleep
all done and dusted...149 laps...just one lap shy of my goal...I got into some difficulties at around 20 minutes...??hunger flat...worked through that then got cramps in both legs at about 40-45 minutes which took a few laps to resolve.....more later..sleeeep now
Hi Penny..not sure it was a hunger flat, but if it was yes you're correct, I did have trouble getting food down..bit of an unusual state of affairs for me!
and thanks Carl..thought I was really in the poo during that ~9 minute period at the 21 min mark, but I was buggered if I was giving in. I'll do a WKO and SRM file review in the next post.
We are continually faced with great opportunities which are brilliantly disguised as unsolvable problems. (Margaret Mead)
If you are facing the right direction, all you have to do is keep on walking. (Buddhist proverb)
“ We come this way but once. We can either tiptoe through life and hope we get to the end without being too badly bruised or we can live a full, complete life achieving our goals and realising our wildest dreams”. Bob Proctor

Congrats, Liz, it was a great performance, you dug really deep and showed lots of courage.
Well done Liz :-) Pity about the hunger flat though. Do you think that was caused by pre-race nerves = less eating?
