16 days to go

So 16 days to go and the flyer is out ..woo!hoo!
You'll know which is me from my last post! Wrong bike and wrong skin suit..so apologies to my sponsors but I had to get a pix quickly and there was no time to set up in the correct gear. It's a printed out and then scanned copy of a VERY large pdf file, so the quality is a bit down.

Thursday's workout was very good, but obviously I overexerted my powertap wheel as it wouldn't work last night! So a new battery is called for..unfortunately I only discovered its demise when I started the workout....gnashes teeth.

The weather is looking good, warming up gradually and not dropping too far over night...

I sent an email round to "everyone" at work to drum up some vocal support and to ensure that I don't give in to the temptation of throwing in the towel mid ride if not hitting the mark I've set for myself, cos while people might understand the temptation and reasoning, I just gotta keep the hero/legend rep up!!(hehe!)

Besides, why go through all this agony and not complete the task?

Hi Liz,

Good luck for the final 2 weeks of training + tapering. :-)

Would you like me to advertise on the BV forums and through ATTA to see if some of that mob are interested in coming along for support as well?
