Locations for PB's

Scene 6am, half asleep figure wanders down stairs, fills kettle, puts computer on. Checks mail. Wanders out to make coffee. Wanders back in checks Google reader for blog updates. Ah! one of my favourites Podium Sports Journal has an article on fatigue..very appropriate..reads first sentence teaser:

"Often in training, athletes attempt to create an ideal environment for maximum strength. I mean, who attempts a personal best in a lift when they are fatigued?"

Sudden change of alertness state......w-h-a-a-a-a-a-t "in a lift"??!!

reads next sentence "In fact, many “strength gurus” will tell you that you should not even lift weights........aaah!

I guess the American writer never even thought about alternative meanings, but I'd have to agree its not a good place to attempt PB's.

Mental picture running through the options..PB for..fastest on/off the bike, fastest 2m sprint, highest bunny hop .

I can think of many more but will keep this blog clean and my mind out of the gutter.

Thanks for the comment! It's great to hear from other hour record enthusiasts. What are you aiming for distance wise?

I can't wait to hear about your results. Best of luck!
